How to get to the Centre
Public transport in Belgium is well organized.
There are two stations in Gent -- Dampoort and St.-Pieters.
The easiest way to reach the center of the town is to get off
at St.-Pieters and then take tram n° 1, 10 or 11.
People arriving by plane at Zaventem airport, should take the
train "Airport City Express" (departure every 9, 24 and 43 minutes
after the hour) to Brussel-Centraal (arrival resp. 29, 44, 01
minutes after the hour). From Brussel-Centraal you take the
train to Gent Sint-Pieters (departure every 21, 51 and 55 minutes
after the hour and arrival at resp. 54, 30, 45 minutes after the hour).
The Centre for Logic and Philosophy of Science is located between the
"Boekentoren" and
"St. Pietersplein" (Square of Saint Peter).
